The energy supply pressure during the high temperature period in summer increases, the railway transportation and warehousing business are generally stable with the total business index kept stable at more than 50%.

Large and medium-sized logistics enterprises have a strong ability to bear pressure and remain in the expansion range, while small and micro logistics enterprises are greatly affected.

Inventory turnover times and equipment utilization indexes, which reflect the operation of enterprises, remained at a relatively good level. The decline in the personnel index was significantly lower than that of the total business index, and the overall supply of personnel was abundant.

Experts said that China's logistics industry prosperity index declined in July, mainly due to the impact of multiple short-term factors, which was basically in line with expectations, and the basically stable logistics operation remained unchanged.

From the perspective of business expectations, the investment and expectations index in July is still in the expansion range. The completed index of fixed asset investment in the logistics industry has rebounded for three consecutive months, reaching over 51% in July. Investments in railways, roads, ports and postal express delivery all maintained rapid growth.

In July, the business activity expectation index of the logistics industry also remained above 53% for three consecutive months, reflecting that companies remained relatively optimistic about the market outlook.

Experts said that in the second half of the year, with the implementation of various policies, the logistics operation will continue to recover and grow steadily.
