In Houzhuang No. 80 Compound, Michael from Australia got vaccinated against COVID-19 days ago with the help of staff from Shuangta Subdistrict Office, Gusu District.
Michael is a freelance photographer with deep love for Suzhou culture, and has lived in the city for five years. “Suzhou is a wonderful city. Everything is lovely here. It drew me in when I came to the city for the first time,” said Michael.
Knowing that Michael is willing to be inoculated, the community briefed him on the vaccination procedures, assessed his health status and cleared up his confusion over vaccines. “My arm felt a bit sore after the shot. But overall, I didn’t feel under the weather,” said Michael.
From the heartwarming vaccination experience, Michael feels the loving care that Suzhou provides equally to both domestic residents and foreign nationals.
