East China’s Jiangsu province will enforce a slew of new laws and regulations in July. Let’s take a close look.
From July 1, the State Railway Administration and the Ministry of Public Security will implement the latest version of the "Catalogue of Items Prohibited, Restricted and Consigned by Railway Passengers".
According to the new regulations, train passengers can carry knives with a blade within 6 cm, unopened liquor of up to 3000ml, and perfume and toilet water of no more than 100ml each.
Passengers can bring 1 piece of insecticide, air freshener and 2 lighters within 150ml. Small live animals are not allowed to be carried on board, but can be checked on the train. Passengers can bring a guide dog with a work certificate on the train. Fish, shrimp, crabs, shellfish and mollusks packaged in closed boxes can be carried on board.
The "Regulations on Clearly Labeling Prices and Prohibiting Price Gouging" issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation will take effect on July 1. The Regulations list seven typical types of price fraud, including selling goods or providing services through false discounts, price cuts, or price comparisons.
The "Good Manufacturing Practice for Cosmetics" issued by the State Food and Drug Administration will come into force on July 1.
According to this specification, enterprises should establish and implement a traceability management system, formulate clear batch management rules for raw materials, inner packaging materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, and all records related to the production of each batch of products should be related to each other to traceability of material procurement, product production, quality control, storage, sales and recalls.
The Stamp Duty Law of the People's Republic of China comes into effect on July 1. The State Intellectual Property Office will terminate the stamp duty collection business from the 1st, and the right holder should submit a statement of opinion before December 1st, 2022 to handle the stamp duty refund business.
