A special event in celebration of “The China-Greece Year of Culture and Tourism” was successfully held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on June 24th. The event is jointly initiated by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government. Zhang Xu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China, and Ma Xin, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, attended the event and delivered speeches.

本次活动采用线上线下融合的形式，向全球观众展现江苏与希腊深厚的文化底蕴和丰富的旅游资源。现场发布的重点打造项目《跨越时空的“相遇”》系列视频，由江苏及希腊摄制团队分别拍摄，深度挖掘江苏和希腊文旅资源的特点和共同点，向江苏观众展现希腊文旅资源，也让希腊观众认知“水韵江苏”独特魅力。视频预计将于今年7月起陆续在中希两国的多个媒体平台推出，同版纪录片也将于今年下半年在希腊国家电视台播出。
With online and offline integration and cross-border interaction, the event shows the rich tourism resources and profound cultural deposits of Jiangsu and Greece to the global audience. Jointly filmed by the Jiangsu team and the Greek team, the Video Series deeply explores the characteristics and common ground of cultural tourism resources in Jiangsu and Greece, promoting the cultural and tourism exchanges between the two sides. The series will be launched on multiple media platforms of both countries in July this year, and the documentary will be broadcast on Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation later this year.
现场进行的“中国希腊文化和旅游年”专场演出，以两个古老文明对话的形式呈现，通过昆曲与希腊戏剧的隔空对唱、古城保护与更新经典案例的展示、美食主题音舞诗画表演以及江苏希腊经典民歌联唱等舞台表现形式，展现双方在文旅融合发展方面的全新探索。
The China-Greece Year of Culture and Tourism Special Performance, as part of the event, initiated a dialogue between the two ancient civilizations, including a duet of Kunqu Opera and Greek drama, a display of classic ancient city conservation and renewal cases, a food-themed creative performance combining music, dance, poetry and paintings, and Jiangsu and Greek classic folk songs, showing the exploration in cultural and tourism integration development.
希腊卫城博物馆馆长尼古拉斯·斯坦波利迪斯、希腊国家歌剧院演员雅尼斯·克里斯托普洛斯、雅典国家技术大学教授艾莱妮·迈斯特欧、南京博物院理事会理事长龚良、东南大学建筑学院教授鲍莉等专家学者以线上线下的方式参与专场演出，展现了江苏和希腊人民的无穷智慧、对艺术的执着追求和对美好生活的热爱与向往。

2022 is the China-Greece Year of Culture and Tourism and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries. This special event stimulates cultural resonance between Jiangsu and Greece, and further deepens the exchanges and cooperation.
活动紧贴“中国希腊文化和旅游年”主题，强调文旅融合理念，以文塑旅、以旅彰文，重点突出两地特色“水”文化，充分融入水元素，江南水乡、千年运河、浪漫爱琴海，以水的流动象征东西方文化之间的融汇与交流，彰显文明互鉴之美。
Emphasizing the integration of culture and tourism, the event follows the theme of “Wisdom, Art and Love”, highlighting the water element that the two cultures are known for, such as water towns, the ancient canal, and the romantic Aegean Sea.
