Nanjing has started to pilot bus-based contactless job interviews for college graduates in response to the mounting pressure on the employment of the job seekers on the campuses.

Two buses drove into the campus of Nanjing Polytechnic Institute on Tuesday, aboard with 11 interviewers from enterprises who would conduct contactless interviews with the college graduates.

The buses were turned into makeshift interview windows where the college graduates could submit their CVs by scanning the QR code pasted on the other side of the bus.

The 11 interviewers conducted interviews with the job-seeking graduates by offering more than 500 job vacancies in 150 positions.

The students followed the regulations to keep a distance of one meter when they queued in front of the buses.

This is similar to a face-to-face interview and can give a more intuitive feeling. I am very confident about the interview.

We've never recruited job-seeking college graduates this way. It is important now that we try this opportunity to come to campus to provide employment opportunities for college graduates.

Since the recent round of epidemic outbreak, relevant departments across the province have continued to innovate recruitment measures in a bid to effectively ease the pressure on the job-hunting college graduates.

The bus-based contactless job interviews will be carried out in Nanjing University of Technology and some other universities in Nanjing that have been placed under close-door campus regulation for the sake of epidemic prevention and control.
