East China’s Jiangsu province will build a provincial-level urban and rural historical and cultural protection and inheritance system that integrates rivers, lakes and seas with urban and rural characteristics, and multi-cultural coexistence.
Jiangsu will strengthen the protection of historical and cultural resources including scenic spots, traditional building groups, ancient wells and bridges, and ancient trees to ensure the integration of as many historical and cultural heritage as possible to better demonstrate major historical events such as the founding of the Communist Party of China and the founding of New China.
Jiangsu will establish a catalogue of historical and cultural resources protection at the provincial, municipal and county levels as soon as possible, strengthen protection measures, and continuously strengthen the protection and inheritance of historical and cultural resources.
