The city of Nanjing signed agreements Thursday at a virtual ceremony on the introduction of 59 large investment projects with a total investment of 120.6 billion yuan.
3 foreign investment projects will bring a total investment of 3.74 billion US dollars. 54 domestic-funded projects will bring a total investment of 96.8 billion yuan. These investment projects involve software and information services, smart grids, integrated circuits, and biomedicine, which are highly compatible with Nanjing's innovative industrial development system. 29 projects will be invested by central enterprises, with a total amount of nearly 50 billion yuan. 12 projects are second-level and third-level regional headquarters, which are equivalent to the scale of introduction over the years. These projects fully demonstrate the effectiveness of Nanjing in promoting cooperation between central enterprises and local governments, which is expected to play a positive role in promoting Nanjing to gather headquarters resources, build an industrial highland, and improve the level of urban development.
