East China’s Jiangsu province will make unremitting efforts to stimulate consumption amid the heightened prevention and control of the covid-19 epidemic so as to minimize the impact of the epidemic on social and economic development.
Jiangsu will speed up the appropriation of funds for business development and increase the effective implementation of favorable policies in enterprises.
Efforts will be made to cooperate with financial supervision and banking and insurance supervision to expand corporate financing channels and reduce corporate financing costs.
Jiangsu will also reduce taxes and fees and grant subsidies to catering operators to reduce operating costs.
Catering companies in county-level administrative areas which have been marked off as high-risk zones will be given periodic service fee discounts.
Jiangsu will also arrange provincial-level business development funds to specifically support consumption promotion activities at all levels, including the "New Consumption" theme shopping festival in a bid to stimulate consumption vitality.
