East China’s Jiangsu province has intensified its efforts to implement dynamic zero-case policy so as to weave a tighter net for epidemic prevention and control. The province reported 3 confirmed locally-transmitted covid-19 cases and 75 asymptomatic cases on Wednesday.
Xuzhou and Nantong have demanded city-wide nucleic acid testing in order to curb the spread of the covid-19 virus.
In order to improve nucleic acid detection capabilities, Nantong has distributed 600 thousand antigen detection kits for residents to test at home.
Xuzhou has implemented the "8+7+1" model, setting up 8 fixed sampling sites, 7 mobile sampling sites and 1 mobile collection team to fully meet the needs of residents for nucleic acid testing.
"After the nucleic acid test is completed every day, we will check and record the information of each household and then we can check how many people in each household have met the requirements of this inspection," said Zhu Liya, Secretary of the Party Committee of a community in Yunlong District, Xuzhou.
Other parts of the province have taken multiple measures to continuously speed up the efficiency of nucleic acid testing and weave a tighter net for epidemic prevention and control.
Changzhou has set up free nucleic acid testing for "takeaway riders" to accurately serve practitioners in key industries.
Jiangyin carried out 24-hour inspections of epidemic prevention and control data, and at the same time assigned nearly 40,000 volunteers at nucleic acid sampling sites and checkpoints to prevent the influx of the epidemic.
Jiangsu has set up nucleic acid sampling sites and antigen sampling and testing sites at highway exits to conduct rapid antigen screening for visitors traveling from medium and high-risk areas.
Jianhu County has set up an aquatic nucleic acid sampling site to provide antigen testing and nucleic acid testing and sampling for ship crew.
Yancheng has launched a platform for inspection on passing trucks. The platform will automatically send the truck's license plate number, driver's name, and phone number to the large LED screen when the epidemiological investigation and testing of the truck driver and accompanying personnel meet the requirements.
