East China’s Jiangsu province has urged all-out efforts to contain the sporadic resurgence of the covid-19 epidemic through the implementation of multi-pronged measures.
In order to ensure dynamic-zero case as soon as possible, Nanjing continued to carry out city-wide nucleic acid testing on Tuesday. At the nucleic acid sampling site in Fengqiyuan Community, Mochouhu Sub-district, citizens were given a "Sampling Certificate for Nucleic Acid Testing" after they were sampled.
According to Nanjing's latest epidemic prevention policy, anyone entering and leaving work institutions and residential areas must present a valid negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours.
Nanjing has optimized the nucleic acid sampling processes , cut back on the time spent on the transfer of nucleic acid samples, raced against time to strengthen emergency response, and accelerated the release of nucleic acid test reports.
In the meantime, Nanjing has also expanded the terminal laboratory testing team to ensure that most nucleic acid test results can be reported within 24 hours and uploaded to the "Jiangsu Health QR Code".
Ban Junmin, Deputy Director of the Jianye District Health Commission of Nanjing, said that each sub-district government has arranged a special cold chain vehicle at each transfer site. They have required each sampling site to pack the specimens to the transfer site within one to two hours after the sampling is finished, and then transport them to the testing agency to ensure that the test results are available within four to six hours.
Nanjing has also added some 24-hour nucleic acid testing sites by opening 25 round-the-clock sampling sites including Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital, Nanjing First Hospital, International Expo Center, and Nanjing Railway Station.
In order to resolutely, quickly and completely block the chain of epidemic transmission and achieve dynamic-zero case as soon as possible, Changzhou Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters will continue to carry out a new round of regional nucleic acid testing from March 22 to 24.
Several buildings in Changzhou Xinggangyuan Community were placed under closed management. Nucleic acid sampling personnel put on thick protective clothing and carried out door-to-door nucleic acid sampling services for people undergoing home isolation and health monitoring.
“I feel that the front-line staff in the fight against the epidemic are working very hard”, said Liu Shihua, a resident of Changzhou, “they organized nucleic acid tests in the heavy rain. I believe that the epidemic can be brought under control quickly”.
Lianyungang has successively adjusted many medium-risk zones to low-risk zones, and at the same time strengthened the disinfection of outdoor and indoor public areas to ensure that the breeding and spread of diseases and epidemics are prevented from the source.
