The Chinese Paralympic ice hockey team started its first field adaptation training before the Winter Paralympics at the National Stadium on Saturday night.
As a team participating in the Winter Paralympics for the first time, the Chinese ice hockey team's group of young people, averaging 26 years old, will challenge themselves to strive for the best performances. Sitting on the ice sled and putting on the armor, this group of young men in uniforms challenged the limits of their bodies on the field in the ever-changing transition of offense and defense. The Chinese ice hockey team, ranked eighth in the world, will play against Italy, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, which rank among the best in the world. 18 players of the Chinese Paralympic ice hockey team will compete in the competition. Yu Jing is the only female athlete on the Paralympic ice hockey arena. She hoped to encourage more persons with disabilities to get engaged in ice and snow sports, regain self-confidence, and feel the joy brought by sports.
