The Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security released a package of work plans on Thursday on "Implementing Digital Skills Enhancement Actions to Serve the Province's Strategy of Strengthening the Digital Economy", aiming to establish and improve the digital skills talent training system and comprehensively improve the digital skills of workers.
The "Work Plan" proposes specific measures to optimize the six aspects of digital skills talent training, training, evaluation, selection, incentives, and services.
Jiangsu will build a group of technical colleges that fit the characteristics of the local digital industry, cultivate 5 provincial-level high-level technical colleges with outstanding development and application of digital skills teaching resources, and create 10 provincial-level digital skills integrated teaching master studios.
Efforts will be made to support enterprises to extensively carry out digital skills pre-job training, on-the-job training and job-transfer training to enhance the digital skills among industrial workers.
Jiangsu will also strengthen the career development of high-skilled talents in digital skills and professional technical talents, and accelerate the cultivation of compound "digital craftsmen" who have both professional quality in this field and digital skills.
At the same time, efforts will be made to strengthen the recognition and incentives for digital skilled talents, and create a better growth environment for digital skilled workers.
