At the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, Chen Jiawei, a young man from Nantong, and his classmates formed a flag-bearer performance team to undertake the task of holding and waving the flag.
Chen Jiawei, 25, graduated from Nantong Middle School and is now a graduate student at the People's Public Security University of China.
As one of the 91 flag bearers at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics, Chen Jiawei held the flag of the Republic of Romania.

At the Winter Olympics, about 1,200 Winter Olympic torchbearers came from all over the country, including one from Taicang, a county-level city in Suzhou.
On February 3, Kang Yan from Jiangsu Procter & Gamble Co., Ltd., as the 31st torchbearer of the Beijing Winter Olympics, delivered the torch in the Yangyuan Nihewan Archaeological Site Park in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province.
65 torchbearers participated in this 4.58-kilometer relay line. Kang Yan was selected as the torchbearer, and she was very excited and proud.
