Recently, the 2022 Suzhou Taihu Lake Plum Blossom Festival was launched online at the Linwu Meihai Scenic Area on Xishan Island in the Taihu Lake. The event will last until March 15 and February will be the perfect time to admire the plum blossoms.
The annual Taihu Lake Plum Blossom Festival enjoys great popularity among local residents and tourists. This year’s event highlights the plum culture and the traditional Chinese customs for the Spring Festival in the Jiangnan area (the region south of the Yangtze River).
During the festival, a slew of activities will be held in Jinting Town, Dongshan Town, Guangfu Town and Xiangshan Sub-district in the Taihu National Tourist Resort, offering an incredible selection of immersive experiences of the beauty of the Taihu Lake in early spring.
