East China’s Jiangsu province has made headway in the pairing-up assistance in northwest China, according to a meeting held Wednesday in Nanjing to greet the leading officials Jiangsu has sent to work in underdeveloped provinces. Wu Zhenglong emphasized that it is necessary to forge a team of loyal and responsible cadres and talents in the east-west pairing-up assistance program.
The officials and talents sent by Jiangsu to the west under the east-west pairing-up assistance program shoulder the mission and responsibility entrusted by the Party Central Committee and represent the image of Jiangsu, he said, adding that they must keep in mind the founding aspiration, enhance political responsibility, and strengthen the work style construction.
