Enterprises in east China’s Jiangsu province are exerting their efforts to contribute to the Beijing Winter Olympics that will take place in 40 days.
A company in Kunshan has developed a disinfection robot with three spray ports that can spray different types of disinfectant as needed.
"This robot can last about five hours spraying two to three thousand square meters. It can perform disinfection at fixed sites and fixed time by planning the route intelligently,"said Zhang Yeqin, Director of R&D Department, Suzhou Shanhuhe Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
With a weight of less than 4 kilograms and a highly sensitive capacitive touch screen, this ultrasound system manufactured by a Suzhou company will also serve as a medical "volunteer" to serve the Olympic athletes.
"This machine has a professional musculoskeletal ultrasound mode, because many athletes often encounter rupture of muscles and tendons or fluid in the joint cavity. This robot can quickly diagnose by making constant scanning regardless of the place and time," said Chen Wei, Marketing Manager of Vinno Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.
A company in Yizheng of Yangzhou city provides heat insulating materials of the uniforms and equipment for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics. Winter sports have special requirements for temperature, making it important to ensure that all athletes' uniforms must be windproof and warm, breathable, light and comfortable. To this end, the company has conducted repeated trials and developed new patented thermal flake.
"Traditional thermal insulation flakes have a single-layer structure. We have adopted a two-dimensional structure of the flakes with two upper and lower layers. The outer layer isolates the cold and the inner layer retains human body heat. This is the first of its kind in China at present," said Sun Youlin, Chairman of Jiangsu Kangda Nonwoven Co., Ltd.
