The Finals of the Ninth Young University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition opened Thursday in Nanjing. 3561 people signed up for the competition, setting a new record.
After 9 months of preliminaries and semi-finals, 31 projects entered the finals, involving smart manufacturing, new medicine and life and health, modern agriculture and service industries, etc.
The contestants come from well-known international and domestic universities such as Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Nanjing University, and more than half of them have master's degree or above.
The players have strong innovative strength, and many projects have won national competition awards, or have achieved good market effects.
"The top 120 contestants will receive 100,000-500,000 yuan in excellent project funding. The first, second and third prize winners will receive the D-talent privileges. We will give an additional bonus of 30,000 yuan to 30,000 yuan," said Fan Yang, Nanjing Labor Employment Service Management Center.
Since the opening of the Nanjing Young College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, more than 700 high-quality projects have been funded, which have accelerated the accumulation of Nanjing's innovative resources.
