Since Huai'an undertook the transformation task for the elderly in difficulty in 2020, a total of 4,500 households have been transformed with more than 13 million RMB invested.
This year, the city introduces more intelligent and specialized concepts for the transformation, and makes up the tailored plan for 2,273 eligible families based on "one household, one policy". By equipping intelligent terminal products such as vital signs monitoring mattresses, wireless pagers, door magnets and infrared sensors, and getting access to the city-wide smart senior care information platform, the home care environment for the elderly in need has been greatly improved. Elderly care services by professional institutions and communities can also be delivered door-to-door through the smart network without barriers.
