The CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee held its 51st chairpersons’ meeting on Tuesday. Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
Huang Lixin stressed that this year's key work of the CPPCC Provincial Committee is to hold a standing committee meeting for special consultation around strengthening technological innovation of industrial chain bottlenecks and building a modern industrial system.
She said the CPPCC Provincial Committee must thoroughly carry out General Secretary Xi Jinping’s latest instructions on scientific and technological innovation and implement the policies and decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on scientific and technological innovation and the construction of a modern industrial system so as to make suggestions and offer proposals on promoting the development of a science and technology powerhouse and manufacturing powerhouse by solving technological bottlenecks.
Wang Liping, executive vice minister of the Organization Department of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, attended the meeting to give briefings on personnel removal and appointment.
