6月1日儿童节当天，以“与世界对话 育世界少年”为主题的南京城市国际化互促共建活动在南京大学金陵小学成功举办。活动现场举行了《你好，我的朋友！——中英双语国际礼仪常识绘本》赠书仪式。南京大学外国语学院与南京大学金陵小学在现场签约，双方将合作共建“国际理解教育研究院”。
A promotion conference on Nanjing Urban Internationalization was held on Children’s Day in Jinling Primary School. This conference witnessed the donating ceremony of English picture booksHello, My Friend!and the signing ceremony on the co-founding of the Institute for Education of International Understanding between School of Foreign Studies, Nanjing University and Jinling Primary School on site.

本次活动由南京市城市国际化推进办公室作为指导单位，南京市商务局、南京市教育局、南京市外办、栖霞区政府共同主办，栖霞区商务局、栖霞区教育局、栖霞区外办承办，南京大学金陵小学、南京大学国际合作与交流处、南京大学外国语学院、江苏省广电总台国际频道共同协办。
Under the guidance of the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalizaiton, this conference was hosted by Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Education, Foreign Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal Government, and People’s Government of Qixia District, and organized by Bureau of Commerce of Qixia District, Bureau of Education of Qixia District, and Foreign Affairs Office of Qixia District, and co-organized by Jinling Primary School Affiliated to Nanjing University, Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, Nanjing University,School of Foreign Studies, Nanjing University, and Jiangsu International Channel, Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation.
南京大学党委副书记薛海林，南京市商务局局长、南京市城市国际化推进办副主任丁爱民，栖霞区委副书记、区长王生出席仪式，南京市商务局、南京市教育局、南京市外办、栖霞区相关分管负责同志，江北新区、各区城市国际化推进办负责人，南京大学、南大金陵小学、新华日报、江苏国际频道相关负责人，全市21所教育国际合作与交流窗口学校、外籍人员子女学校代表，以及南大金陵小学学生代表约100人参加活动。
Xue Hailin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nanjing University, Ding Aimin, Director-General of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Deputy Director of the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization, and Wang Sheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chiefof Qixia District, Nanjing were present at the ceremony. Around 100 representatives also attended the ceremony including those from Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, promotion offices at city level and district level, Foreign Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal Government, Qixia District Government, Jiangbei New Area, Nanjing University, Jinling Primary School and International Department of Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation.

南京市商务局局长、南京市城市国际化推进办副主任丁爱民在致辞中表示，自2018年南京市国际化办成立以来，围绕创新、产业、城市功能和城市形象国际化水平的提升，取得了积极成效。从近年来国内外知名研究咨询机构发布的《GaWC世界城市名册》等城市综合评价指数来看，南京的全球城市排名由原先100名以外上升至第80名左右，内地城市排名也提升至前5—6名。为助力培育大批适应新时代国家经济社会对外开放新形势新需求、具备国际视野、通晓国际规则、能够参与国际事务和国际竞争的新一代，南京市国际化办将组织形式多样的活动，积极提升南京学子们的文化素养和人文情怀。
Ding Aimin, Director-General of Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Deputy Director of the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization delivered a speech.He said that since 2018, the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization has achieved positive results focusing on the improvement of innovation. According to the Comprehensive City Eevaluation Index issued by well-known research and consulting institutions at home and abroad in recent years, Nanjing has risen from the top 100 in the world to around 80. The Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization will organize a variety of activities to actively help the younger generation have an international vision, understand international rules, and participate in international affairs and international competition in the future.
王靖华副区长介绍栖霞区城市国际化工作开展情况
在活动现场，栖霞区人民政府副区长、栖霞区城市国际化推进办公室主任王靖华也从产业合作、涉外配套、对外交流等方面介绍了近年来栖霞区城市国际化工作的开展情况。据介绍，栖霞共有来自118个国家和地区的常住外籍人士约3700人，占全市比重约25%，位列全市第一。接下来，栖霞区将围绕“创建国际消费中心城市”的工作要求，深化对外开放合作，促进国际文化交流，优化涉外服务环境，将创业投资、学习交流的外籍人士“引进来、留得住、发展好”，推动栖霞不断向国际化城市迈进。
Wang Jinghua, Deputy Director of Qixia District and Director of the Promotion Office of Qixia District, also briefed the audience on the overall situation of Qixia District. Qixia has about 3700 foreigners of permanent residency from 118 countries and regions, accounting for about 25% of the city's total, ranking first in the city. Qixia District will deepen opening-up and cooperation around the work requirements of "creating an international consumption center city".

活动现场，“金陵友谊奖”获得者——“汉字叔叔”理查德·西尔斯分享了他对于南京城市国际化的深刻体会。作为栖霞区第一位获得“金陵友谊奖”的外国人，“汉字叔叔”理查德·西尔斯深爱中国文化和中国汉字。他用了20年时间整理甲骨文、金文、小篆等字形并放到网上，输入汉字就可查看字形，感动很多中国网友。如今，他与栖霞区内企业视网么共同创办了“汉字书局”品牌，专门从事汉字字源文化研究。
Nicknamed Uncle Hanzi, Mr. Sears established a website called Chinese Etymology and shares with people the origins of Chinese characters. Also one of the first winners of Zijin Friendship Award in 2020, Mr. Sears shared his ideas on the urban internationalization of Nanjing with the audience.

活动现场还举行了《你好，我的朋友！》绘本赠书仪式。来自拉萨路小学等16所市教育国际合作与交流窗口学校，以及南京国际外籍人员子女学校等5所外籍人员子女学校的教师代表接受《你好，我的朋友！》绘本赠书。泰晤士学校的师生生动演绎了绘本章节内容，带领参会嘉宾一起走进绘本。活动现场，南京市外办还对12308中国全球海外领事保护服务电话进行了宣传。
南京市外办向现场师生赠送领保宣传品“安全呀（鸭）”和《出国提醒手册》
The donating ceremony of Hello, My Friend! saw 21 representatives from 16 primary schools in Nanjing and five international schools receive the bilingual picture books donated by the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization. A short English play performed by students from Times College illustrated a scenario from Hello, My Friend! and gave the audience a more vivid and thorough understanding of the picture book. The 24-hour global hotline "12308"for Chinese compatriots abroad was promoted on site and greeted with concerns.

在短剧中出演外籍寄宿家庭里女儿一角的米娜认为《你好，我的朋友！》绘本是非常有帮助的。她说：“首先对于我们这个年龄段的人可能会比较难理解外国的文化。这本书它是通过故事的方式，所以对我们来说不会很枯燥，可以帮助我们了解别的国家的文化礼仪，避免一些文化冲突。”

南京大学外语学院与南京大学金陵小学签署了“国际理解教育研究院”合作协议
2020年8月，南京市与南京大学联合召开“共建南京教育高质量发展创新示范区”会议，南京市金陵小学正式授牌为“南京大学金陵小学”。为进一步推进学校的国际化建设，南京大学外语学院与南京大学金陵小学在此次活动上共同签署了“国际理解教育研究院”合作协议。
An agreement onthe co-founding of the Institute for Education of International Understanding was signed afterwards by School of Foreign Studies, Nanjing University and Jinling Primary School.The collaboration and cooperation between Nanjing University and Jinling Primary School would bring more benefit to young students in Jinling Primary School.

Lin Huimin, Principal of Jinling Primary School Affiliated to Nanjing University expressed her ideas that it’s a great cause to cultivate the children of the world. She also said that the cooperation with Nanjing University is a win-win situation and they’ll make great efforts on education of international understanding.

《你好，我的朋友！》是由南京市城市国际化推进办公室主编，江苏凤凰美术出版社绘制出版，面向少年儿童推广的中英双语国际礼仪有声绘本。该系列丛书将国际礼仪知识与地方特色和友城文化紧密结合，系列1自推出以来在全市引起积极反响。今年推出的系列2旨在加深少年儿童对南京文化和友好城市的了解，鼓励引导他们养成知礼、懂礼、有礼的良好习惯。近日，南京市城市国际化推进办还将通过江北新区、各区城市国际化推进办向全市其他300余所小学进行绘本发放。

Edited by the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization and published by Phoenix Fine Arts Publishing Ltd, Hello, My Friend!is an audio picture book to share the international etiquette with primary school students. The series focuses on the distinctive features of a city and sister city relations at the same time, and tells children how to behave properly in other cultures. The first edition was published in 2019 and second edition also greeted the readers early this year. The Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization will donate the books to over 300 primary schools in the city.
今年以来，南京市城市国际化推进办邀请在宁外籍人士参加“携手添新绿·共话友谊情——国际友人植树活动”，聘请城市国际化紫金友好使者，携手在宁高校举办“南京城市国际化校地联谊交流会”，积极营造国际化宣传氛围，持续提升南京国际品牌形象。
In March this year, the Promotion Office of Nanjing Urban Internationalization invited 12 expats living in Nanjing to participate in a tree-planting activity and honored them with Zijin Friendship Ambassador Award, and joined hands with universitiesin Nanjing to promote Nanjing to the whole world.
