The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between Huai'an Municipal Government and Nanjing Institute of Technology was held on May 10 in Huai'an. Vice Mayor Wang Xianghong and vice president Zhang Yangfei of Nanjing Institute of Technology signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement, opening a new chapter for the in-depth cooperation between the two sides.
Since the two sides signed the strategic cooperation in 2016, they had extensive cooperation in many areas such as education, economy, culture, science and technology, etc. They have made remarkable progress in innovation, entrepreneurship, institute-enterprise collaboration, and graduate employment. NJIT also provided all-around science and technology services for the towns in Huai'an and effectively promoted their development.
At the ceremony, Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone signed an agreement with NJIT to establish the HETDZ Technology Transfer subcenter of NJIT Technology Transfer Center. Ten enterprises, including Jiangsu Weibo Hydraulic Co., Ltd., signed institute-enterprise cooperation agreements with HJIT too.
