The city of Nanjing held a commencement ceremony for the fresh college graduates at the Jiangsu Grand Theatre Sunday evening.
Han Liming, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, sent blessings to 263 thousand graduates who are about to graduate this summer from universities and colleges in Nanjing. 10 companies and 10 universities were awarded for their efforts to recruit and cultivate college graduates. 96 outstanding university graduates were commended for their decisions to seek career development in Nanjing and their contribution to Nanjing's economic and social development. Nanjing is expected to host four special job fairs for the fresh college graduates to land jobs in the tougher job market.
