Chinese President Xi Jinping addressed the opening ceremony of Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference via video Tuesday.
Xi reiterated that the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is a public road open to all.
He said China will continue to work with other parties in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
Xi called for making green a defining feature of Belt and Road cooperation.
The Chinese president's call has gained wide recognition among attendees at the Boao Forum.
