长江运河交汇地,青山绿水展新颜。4月8日上午,经过五年精心筹备、精心打造的2021扬州世界园艺博览会正式开启大幕。这是全球园艺界的“奥林匹克”首次落户长三角地区,“人与自然和谐共生”的办会理念,“绿色城市,健康生活”的办会主题,将借助全球园艺的汇聚,得到美丽而生动的呈现。
The 2021 international horticulture expo kicked off on the morning of April 8th in Yangzhou. After five years of preparation and planning, the expo is the first of its kind which settles in the Yangtze River Delta. With the theme of “Green city, healthy life”, this expo will promote the idea of "harmonious coexistence between man and nature" and showcase how horticulture and greening can be an important part of future urban planning and sustainable lifestyles.
世界园艺博览会(简称世园会),是由国际园艺生产者协会审核批准的全球园艺界盛会,旨在通过展示观赏性植物(花卉苗木、瓜果菜蔬丶经济作物、植物种籽)最新成果和技术,促进园艺产业和文化的国际交流,保护世界生物多样化,实现“人与自然和谐共生”。
Approved by the International Association of Horticultural Producers, the World Horticultural Exposition is a global horticultural event to display the latest achievements and technologies of ornamental plants (flower seedlings, fruits and vegetables, cash crops and plant seeds), aiming to promote the international exchange of horticultural industry and culture, to protect the world's biological diversity and to realize "harmonious coexistence between man and nature."
世园会自1960年在荷兰鹿特丹问世以来,已在欧亚等地举办近40届,其中中国担任东道主9次。这次世园会落户扬州,恰逢中国共产党建党一百周年,意义重大,影响深远。
Since its founding in 1960 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, the expo has been held in Europe and Asia and other places for nearly 40 times, among which, nine times were held in China.
With great significance and far-reaching influence, the 2021 international horticulture expo will embrace the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
扬州世园会选址宁扬交界处扬州西大门、华东地区最大丘陵生态园、省级旅游度假区枣林湾旅游度假区,总占地230公顷,合计3500亩,分为西片区原省园会和东片区国内外展园两部分组合而成。
Covering an area of 3,500 mu and located in Zaolinwan Tourist Resort which is the largest hilly ecological park in East China and the provincial tourist resort, the exhibition area is divided into two parts: the western area which is the main venue of 2018 Jiangsu Horticulture Expo, and the eastern area which is the Exhibition Gardens to showcase international gardens and gardens from other provinces.
地形由西南向东北平缓倾斜,其中水域面积近500亩,包括西侧云鹭湖、东侧仙鹭湖和贯穿东西的枣林河。规划布局为“一轴、两脉、五心、八片区”。一轴,即连接南北主入口的中心景观轴;两脉,即贯穿园区东西的陆上游线、水上游线。五心,即东片区国际馆、开闭幕式馆;西片区中国馆、园冶园和碧云村五个主体建筑。
The terrain is gently inclined from southwest to northeast with a water area being nearly 500 mu, including Yunlu Lake on the west side, Xianlu River on the east side and Zaolin River running from the east to the west. The layout is "one axis, two veins, five centers and eight areas." One axis, is the axis connecting both main entrances in south and north; two veins, are the land route and water route leading from east to west; five centers, are the International Pavilion, Opening and Closing Pavilion, China Pavilion, Yuanye Garden, and Biyun Village which demonstrate the ecological customs of the five continents.
八片区,即东片区入口服务区、国内园艺展区、国外园艺展区、生活园艺展区、企业园区和西片区江苏展区、林荫休憩区和生态休闲区。
Eight areas include Service Area, Domestic Horticulture Exhibition Area, Foreign Horticultural Exhibition Area, Life Style Horticultural Exhibition Area, Industrial Park Area and Jiangsu Province Exhibition Area in the west, Shaded Leisure Area and Ecological Leisure Area.
除江苏展区已有13个设区市展园之外,国内展区共有26个城市、企业参展,国外共有25个城市、组织参展,合计为64个展园。
Altogether 64 exhibition parks are welcoming visitors. In addition to 13 exhibition parks built by different cities in Jiangsu Province, there are a total of 26 cities and enterprises participating in the exhibition in China, and 25 international cities and organizations participating.
国内园艺展区按区域设立六处公共景观花园:华东芯花园,华北合花园,东北融花园,西北旗花园,西南台花园,华南润花园。国际园艺展区按洲际同样设立六处公共景观花园:亚洲木作花园,欧洲方块花园,非洲木刻花园,北美洲积木花园,南美洲岩石花园,大洋洲木舟花园,同时开辟了国际月季、阴生`、睡莲等多个专类花园。
Six domestic gardens are presented to showcase the culture and scenery of different parts of China. As for international gardens, six gardens are designed to introduce the cultures of Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania. Meanwhile, the expo also established gardens that specialize in particular species, including Chinese roses garden, shade plant garden and lotus garden.
展会设计坚持“绿色梦想,绿色营造,绿色生活”理念,对自然生态干预最小化,公共景观施工模块化,展会运营持续化,固定建筑占比不到15%,新增植物品种1160多种,栽植全冠大树27800多株、低矮灌木77万平米,开花类超过50%。
The exhibition design adheres to the concept of "green dream, green construction, and green life". It minimizes the manual intervention to natural ecology. Fixed buildings account for less than 15% of the whole area. More than 1160 new plant species can be found in the expo.
扬州世园会充分发挥世界造园宝典《园冶》成书之乡的独特优势,全面践行“虽有人作,宛自天开”的园冶思想和“巧于因借,精在体宜"的造园法则,匠心独运,精工创造,成功建成以江豚为蓝本的巨无霸可变色国际馆,江苏最大人工瀑布“梦幻叠瀑”塑石假山,别开林壑大型木结构中国馆、琼华仙玑突出式园林园冶园。
The Yangzhou Horticulture Expo has integrated Chinese philosophies in building gardens. The highlights that you won’t want to miss include the giant international hall that is inspired by finless porpoise, the largest man-made waterfall in Jiangsu, and the wooden-structure China Pavilion.
扬州世园会在4.8-10.8日为期6个月的会期中,将紧紧依托国际馆开展插花、品种月季、品种芍药等6项国际专业大赛,聚焦果、蔬、茶、花大园艺进行展示和论坛,同时在中国馆开展中国和江苏名花、园艺展览,非遗特展,在碧云村开展扬州慢生活活态展示、美食展销,主题日、演艺、国风、快闪、巡游等活动遍布园内、贯穿始终。并大力推进展会与后运营的深度融合,按照世界级狂野主题乐园的定位,引导前期设计和资源配置,为世园会的可持续利用做出了积极探索。
The expo lasts for 6 months from April 8 to October 8. A variety of amazing activities will be held, including international competitions on flower arrangement, exhibitions on China and Jiangsu’s rare flower species, exhibitions of Jiangsu’s intangible cultural heritages, and etc. Meanwhile, it will promote the integration of exhibition and marketing, boosting the expo’s long-term development.
