3月31日,2021全国人体器官捐献缅怀纪念暨宣传普及活动在南京市遗体器官捐献者纪念林举行。这也是首次在江苏省举办国家级的人体器官捐献缅怀纪念活动。
On March 31st, the 2021 National Honoring Ceremony for Organ Donation Volunteers was held in the memorial forest at Nanjing. This is the first national commemorating event for organ donors ever held in Jiangsu.
目前,全国各地已建成遗体和人体器官捐献者缅怀纪念场所147处,每年清明节期间,各地红十字会都会举办形式多样的缅怀纪念活动。
So far, 147 memorial sites for donors of body and organs have been built throughout China. In each Qingming Festival, commemorating events of various forms are held by local Red Cross branches.
著名主持人、中国红十字会兼职副会长白岩松在现场朗诵《生命的礼物》,呼吁更多的人加入这项充满爱心的生命工程。
At the ceremony on the 31st in Nanjing, Bai Yansong, Vice President of Red Cross Society of China, recited “A Gift of Life” to call for more attention and participation in this endeavor.

据悉,截至目前,江苏累计人体器官捐献登记志愿者超过16.1万人,累计实现遗体捐献3930例、器官捐献1121例,使众多患者获得新生,为医学事业发展作出积极贡献。
It is reported that more than 160 thousand people in Jiangsu Province have become organ donation volunteers while 1121 organ donors and 3930 body donors have realized their will upon their death.
