East China’s Jiangsu province has revved up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to achieve the social and economic development targets set forth in this year’s government work report.
The city of Xuzhou has started a comprehensive dredging and greening improvement project on the Kuihe River.
"The projectstarts from Sudi Road and ends at Yuanqiao Sluice Gate over a total span of four kilometers."said by Han Li, Director of Kuihe River Improvement Project, Xuzhou.
The Kuihe River Reconstruction Project is expected to meet the needs of flood control through river dredging, bank protection reinforcement, source control and pollution interception, water ecological restoration, water landscape improvement, and comprehensive pipeline laying. When the project is completed by the end of 2022, the tourist attractions at both ends will be integrated to enhance Xuzhou's tourism image.
Cotai Energy Rudong Industrial Base is stepping up the construction of the thermal power generation project in the industrial park to ensure that power and heating will be available at the end of April to provide energy guarantee for the trial production of the Cotai Project.
"The project will be able to provide the park with 150 tons of steam per hour, 30 MW of power generation per hourand meet 80% of the main project’s demand for steam and power."said by Zhou Hao, Cotai Energy Rudong Industrial Base.
The Rudong Industrial Base of Cotai Energy, with a total investment of 45 billion yuan, will be built into a household paper industrial park integrating advanced manufacturing and circular economy.
With trial production scheduled for the end of April, the project is expected to have an annual output of 540 thousand tons of household paper.
