East China’s Jiangsu province has released three policy measures to further boost the reform and opening-up in education, human resources and healthcare.
Jiangsu will require elementary and middle school students to work at home for no less than 2 hours a week. At the same time, Jiangsu will explore the implementation of the labor education credit system and incorporate labor literacy into the comprehensive quality evaluation system of students as an important reference or basis for students to be granted honorary titles and seek enrollment at higher level educational institutions.
Jiangsu has introduced 14 policy measures to clarify the qualifications and eligibility for registration in cities of different sizes so as to lower the threshold for household registration. In the meantime, efforts will be made to increase incentives for human resources and social security agents at the grassroots level and make the mechanism conducive to fuller and higher-quality employment.
Zhang Hongwei, Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province
"The Human Resources and Social Security Department must strengthen the legislative work to formulate the "Regulations on Employment Promotion" and formulate the "14th Five-Year Plan" for high-quality employment in Jiangsu to ensure employment opportunities for the disadvantaged," said Zhang Hongwei, Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province.
Jiangsu will also speed up the construction of a multi-tiered healthcare insurance system by developing enterprise supplementary medical insurance and commercial supplementary medical insurance, and establishing a guarantee mechanism for the supply of rare disease drugs.
Xiang Bowei, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Medical Security Administration
"We will further deepen the reform of financing mechanisms, operating mechanisms, regulatory mechanisms, and the use of medical consumables, so that people can get fairer and more convenient medical security services," said Xiang Bowei, Deputy Director of Jiangsu Medical Security Administration.
