In the past few days, a number of provincial key projects were launched in Jiangsu, providing momentum for the high-quality development of the province.
The IPS energy storage project located in Yandu District, Yancheng City, mainly focuses on the manufacturing and research of energy storage systems and specialized batteries. After the production reaches designed capacity, the project will annually create a sales income of 1 billion yuan and a tax of 50 million yuan. The initial construction is estimated to finish by this June and start normal production before the end of the year, with the target of becoming one of the top enterprises in the field. Meanwhile, Yandu District is striving to provide efficient administrative services to improve its business climate.

On February 27th, 2021’s first batch of 25 projects of Haimen city were also launched with a total investment of nearly 40 billion yuan. The projects cover fields including smart manufacturing, new materials and biomedicine. In recent years, Haimen has been making breakthroughs in key projects, bringing great potential to Haimen’s economic development.
On 28th of February, the 20th anniversary of Xiangcheng, Suzhou, a ceremony was held for the contract signing and construction launch of 180 projects, absorbing a total investment of over 120 billion yuan, involving industries including high-end equipment, digital finance and educational and cultural industries. Moreover, the Pilot Zone of Yangtze River Delta International R&D Community was also officially launched on this day, providing a modern, technological and eco-friendly environment for R&D talents. For now, over 20 projects have been planned to settle in the zone.
