The new version of the catalog negotiated a reduction in the number of drugs including antineoplastic drugs, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease drugs, lupus drugs, and anti-depressant drugs. Drugs in the latest version of the National Covid-19 Diagnosis and Treatment Program are also included in the national medical insurance catalog.
After the adjustment, the total number of drugs in the list reached 2,800, including 1,264 western medicines, 1,315 Chinese patent medicines and 221 negotiated drugs during the agreement period. From March 1st, Jiangsu will strictly implement the provisions of the national catalog, and all localities are not allowed to make their own catalog or use alternative methods to increase the number of drugs in the catalog.
Each city will determine the self-paid rate and reimbursement rate of the negotiated drugs during the agreement period. The individual shall not pay higher than 30% of the total price, according to the requirements.
