As of November last year, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui and Shanghai had worked together to build 67 cooperation platforms to provide support and guarantee for the further development of high-quality integration in the Yangtze River Delta.
In the meantime, Jiangsu is stepping up the transportation infrastructures to ensure further development of the integrated and higher quality development in the Yangtze River Delta.
Three railways in north Jiangsu have become operational to link up major cities in the southern part of the province while the start of the construction of the Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou railway will give further impetus to the regional development.
Residents in the delta region can seek medical treatment and services outside of their provinces while trans-provincial medical expense imbursement has been available at 3812 hospitals in the delta.
