Built at the west entrance to Kunshan Urban Ecological Forest Park, the 750-meter-long Yuanshi Road (north extension section) was opened to traffic days ago.
With two lanes in each direction, the road is differently equipped with multi-functional lamp posts and 5G base stations, thus becoming the first newly-built road in the city that features 5G technologies.
Besides, the non-motorized vehicle lanes of the extended part are covered with colored asphalt while the sidewalks are paved with concrete that is permeable to water to prevent the stubborn problem of water pooling.
As this new intelligent road makes its debut, local residents will enjoy much more convenience in their daily travel.
