It was learned from the Wuxi Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning that the Regulations on Real Estate Registration in Wuxi (Revised) was deliberated, approved and officially issued by the Standing Committee of the Wuxi Municipal People's Congress and the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress. The revised Regulations on Real Estate Registration in Wuxi(hereinafter referred to as “the new Regulations”) took effect on January 1, 2021.
Wuxi is the first prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province to issue the regulations on real estate registration. The new Regulations aiming to further protect the legitimate rights and interests of the owners of real estate embodied the service concepts of people first and convenient registration, defined the validity of electronic licenses approved, adjusted the time limit for announcement and acceptance and simplified certificate handling materials from the perspectives of optimizing the business environment for real estate registration and facilitating the masses.
