East China’s Jiangsu province has issued a three-year action plan to strengthen the industrial chains by focusing on 13 advanced manufacturing clusters and strategic emerging industries, and cultivating a number of industrial chains with comparative advantages.
According to the three-year action plan between 2021 and 2023 for strengthening the industrial chain, Jiangsu will focus on cultivating 50 key industrial chains with strong collaborative innovation, intellectual development and brand influence in the three-year period.
Jiangsu will take measures to expand 30 advantageous industrial chains, and promote outstanding improvement of 10 industrial chains including UHV equipment, cranes, and connected vehicles.
The plan aims to improve the stability, safety and competitiveness of the supply chain of the "Made in Jiangsu" industrial chain, and accelerate the construction of a manufacturing powerhouse.
By 2023, Jiangsu will build a group of national-level advanced manufacturing clusters with benchmarking significance, a number of "chain master enterprises" and hidden champion enterprises with strong international competitiveness, and overcome a number of key and core technologies that restrict the independent controllability, safety and efficiency of the industrial chain.
