According to the results of “2020 IFLA AAPME Awards” announced by International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), Suzhou Huqiu Wetland Park (苏州虎丘湿地公园) won the Outstanding Award for Wildlife, Biodiversity, Habitat Enhancement or Creation, the highest honor of the awards. It’s worth mentioning that Huiqiu Wetland Park is the only winner of the award in 2020.
After 15 years of renovation, the wetland park, which lies in the northwest of Suzhou's old town and is the combination of forests, lakes and fields, has now become the area's “green lungs”. It shelters hundreds of species of animals and plants and improves the environment for the city’s residents.

Covered in lush vegetation, Huqiu Wetland Park is built around a lake that is 6 kilometers in circumference. It takes around two to three hours to walk around the park. You can stroll along the pavement and take a breath of fresh air there.
There is a red plank walkway above the water, just like a ribbon falling onto the blue water.
