Suzhou Taihu Cloud Park (Phase I) went into operation in SND and the first seven companies moved into the park this Wednesday (December 16). The Phase I Project consists of R&D Innovation Area, Research & Pilot Scale Production Area, Industrial Demonstration Area and Central Supporting Area, covering the functions of R&D, incubation, office, demonstration, international cooperation, etc.
Taihu Cloud Park
Location
Located to the south of Kunlunshan Road and the east of Jialingjiang Road, Taihu Cloud Park sits right at the core of Suzhou Science and Technology Town (苏州科技城) in SND. According to the project plan, the whole park, which involves an investment of RMB6 billion yuan, will cover an area of 338 mu (nearly 22.5 hectares) and the floorage will occupy more than 800,000 square meters.
Environment
The buildings in the park looks like stereoscopic “QR codes”, which makes them quite different from those in the neighborhood.
Industry
Taihu Cloud Park will step up its efforts in developing strategic emerging industries such as cloud computing, AI, big data, Internet of Things, intelligent manufacturing, IT services, general health, etc., and many other new-generation IT technologies.
Supporting Facilities
The park has all the necessary supporting facilities in its vicinity. There are functional venues such as meeting rooms, negotiation areas, roadshow centers, as well as cafeterias and reading areas inside the park.
In the future, the Taihu Cloud Park will evolve into a hub of the new-generation IT industry in Suzhou.
