In advancing the reform of the rural collective property rights system, Jiangsu has quantified and distributed collective assets to individuals, and developed a collective economic organization management system to achieve unified registration and unified management so as to change villagers into "shareholders to enable them to share the development of the rural collective economic development.
Up to now, more than 99% of the villages in Jiangsu have basically completed the reform of the rural collective property rights system. A total of more than 300 billion yuan of collective assets have been checked and verified, more than 50 million collective members have been confirmed, and more than 17 thousand village-level joint-stock economic cooperatives have completed registration.
