East China’s Jiangsu province will launch 9 overseas legal service centers in Germany, Japan and some other countries, according to a signing ceremony held Tuesday morning by the Provincial Department of Justice for the establishment of overseas legal service centers.
The event was held in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Commerce, the Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, and the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. Jiangsu has so far established 7 overseas legal service centers in Cambodia and Ethiopia, helping more than 160 Chinese enterprises to settle down through overseas investment projects. In the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone in Cambodia where more than 160 Chinese-funded enterprises have landed, the Provincial Department of Justice, together with the Wuxi Municipal Government and Hodou Group, established the Jiangsu "Belt and Road" legal service center in Cambodia in 2017.
