Recently, Wuxi held the launching ceremony of the 2020 Wuxi Taihu Golden Autumn Merchants Month and the appointment ceremony of the government commissioners of service enterprises in Wuxi. Du Xiaogang, Mayor of Wuxi, attended the ceremony and issued letters of appointment to the first batch of government commissioner representatives of service enterprises. Zhou Changqing, Vice Mayor of Wuxi, presided over the event. Zhang Lijun, Secretary General of the Wuxi Municipal People’s Government, attended the event.
Heads of various municipal functional departments and each division and persons in charge of the development zones are members of the first batch of 25 government commissioners of service enterprises. At the same time, special liaison officers, who are responsible for related businesses, are appointed in service enterprises. The government commissioners and liaison officers will provide all-weather, all-round and full life-cycle services for nearly 400 key enterprises in Wuxi, and guide enterprises to make good use of various policies, coordinate and solve various government affairs, difficulties and problems, and serve as good promoters of enterprise-benefiting policies, government service agents and government-enterprise communication liaison officers.
At the ceremony, Zhang Shaofeng, Vice Mayor of Jiangyin, as well as a government commissioner, made a statement. He said that "we will regard service enterprises as the best environment and the most direct investment method to promote enterprise capital increase with services and introduce projects with services." Representatives of key enterprises such as Chen Jiangang, Vice President of Hodo Group, and Shu Peng, General Manager of Jabil Circuit (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., expressed their desire and expectation to continue to deepen government-enterprise cooperation and achieve mutual benefits.
