East China’s Jiangsu province is ready for the celebration of the National Day holiday and the mid-autumn festival as activities were held in various parts of the province to infuse urban and rural areas with festive atmosphere.

At the scene of the 2020 Kunshan Taiwan Straits Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival, more than 110 sets of colored lights were all lit up at 8 pm.

The beautiful traditional lamp group incorporates the cultural and folk characteristics of both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

On the shore of Nanhu Lake Bay in the ancient town of Zhouzhuang, the lotus flower blooms slowly to symbolize the sameness in the origin of the people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

All the lights of the Lantern Festival were turned on instantly, kicking off an immersive singing and dancing performance of the celebrated water town. People from both sides of the strait welcomed the Mid-Autumn Festival in the colorful lanterns.

In order to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, community workers and residents in Suzhou were busy cutting paper and making moon-cakes. The well-designed "I take a photo with the national flag" attracted many residents.

Jiangsu Yancheng Wildlife World held a series of autumn outing activities, 15 newborn small animals showed up in front of the tourists for the first time to celebrate the National Day.

Zhenjiang Nanshan Scenic Spot installed penjing and stone exhibitions to greet the National Day.

Hundreds of walking enthusiasts in Yandu District of Yancheng set off along the beautiful fitness trail, enjoying the beautiful autumn scenery.

Dafeng district of Yancheng city held a flag-raising ceremony to welcome the National Day. About 60,000 students from all primary and secondary schools participated in the "Millions of Students Swearing to the National Flag" event, saluting the national flag and swearing an oath to the motherland.
