An 18-billion-yuan space science and technology innovation park will be launched in Luhe district, Nanjing city, Thursday on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the Nanjing Golden Autumn Trade Fair.
The Chinese lunar exploration "Nanjing Space Science and Technology Industrial Park" project will be landed in Luhe district, according a contract signing ceremony.
Being the first space science and technology park in Jiangsu, the park will become a space characteristic science and technology innovation center, a national science education demonstration base and an international advanced science industry innovation.
Official opening is scheduled for 2022.

At the golden autumn trade fair, Luhe district signed contracts on the investment of 76.1 billion in 28 projects.
