New school year dawns amid effective COVID-19 controls

Primary and secondary schools in east China’s Jiangsu province have ushered in the new semester for different grades of students with the opening dates to continue until Sept 7 in a staggered schedule amid intensive COVID-19 prevention and control measures on campus.

The Jiangbei campus of Nanjing No. 1 Middle School kicked off a concert to welcome the 300 10th graders.

Each of the schools has its own style and characteristics, allowing the students to feel the local cultural atmosphere when they go to school. At present, all our schools have met the admission requirements to ensure that the new semester will start on September 1st as scheduled.

Pre-school education is a kind of game to allow them to adapt to the pre-school education life. We have also customized the first-year exclusive "small courses" for them, such as game movies, life movies, learning movies,including epidemic prevention and control.

Students across the province are celebrating the start of the new semester in a variety of ways.

It is very hard for farmers to grow grains. If you can't finish your meal in the restaurant, you should take it home instead of leaving it on the table.

All schools have cleaned and disinfected the classrooms and the teachers are required to return to the city where their schools are located 15 days before the opening of the new semester.

The students will be required to show their health code on their school card and their registration form announcing their whereabouts in the past 14 days.
