Zhou Guoping, Member of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China An’neng Group, and Fan Jinlong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor.
At a symposiums held after the launch ceremony, Sun Huashan pointed out that the establishment of the Changzhou base is a pragmatic measure to implement the spirit of General Secretary Jinping’s important instructions on emergency management.
He hoped that the Changzhou base will accurately grasp the main positioning of emergency rescue, continue to innovate mechanisms and systems, effectively strengthen emergency response capabilities and team building, strive for multi-party policy support, and strive to make new contributions in the main battlefield of emergency rescue.
Zhou Guoping stated that the Changzhou base, in its capacity as a state-owned enterprise under the supervision of the central government, will strengthen the construction of emergency response forces, fulfill its social responsibilities, resolutely follow the party’s command, exercise excellent skills, and strengthen responsibility so as to make greater contributions to effectively responding to various severe natural disasters and maintaining the safety of people's lives and property and social stability.
Fan Jinlong hoped that China An’neng Group will give full play to its advantages of being a central enterprise and expand more cooperation space with local governments in emergency rescue services, infrastructure construction, and natural disaster prevention.
Party committees and governments at all levels in Jiangsu, especially in Changzhou, will actively participate in and support the construction of the base, and strive to make greater contributions to the national emergency management cause and Jiangsu's economic and social development, he added.
The Natural Disaster Engineering Rescue Changzhou Base of the Ministry of Emergency Management is the first natural disaster engineering rescue regional base established in China, opening a new model of joint cooperation between central enterprises, ministries and local governments.
