The CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee held a meeting Monday to study the important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping at a recent symposium with entrepreneurs and during his recent inspection tour to northwest China’s Jilin province. Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, presided over the meeting.
It was decided at the meeting that the 8th plenum of the 13th provincial committee of the CPC will be held on July 29 in Nanjing, according to a statement released after the meeting.

When chairing the symposium with entrepreneurs last week, General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed the need to adopt more proactive and impactful fiscal policies and more prudent monetary policies, with flexibility to keep macro policies more targeted and timelier.

During an inspection tour in Northeast China's Jilin province from July 22 to 24, Xi Jinping stressed sticking to China's new development philosophy and further implementing the strategy of revitalizing Northeast China.
