This year, Xuzhou City has completed the installation and update of 24 fitness facilities in 22 residential communities in the urban area in a campaign to create a "10-minute exercise circle" for residents.
The just-completed second-generation "fitness trail" at Xuzhou Science and Technology Plaza featuring intelligent operation has become the new favorite of local citizens. (Fitness trail refers to a series of exercise equipment set up in communities, parks and other public places for people to use for fitness and entertainment.)
Compared with traditional public fitness equipment, the second-generation equipment has solar panels installed on each piece, making them illuminated at night.
The stored power can also charge mobile devices such as mobile phones.
The intelligent system will be activated on the equipment after being used for 5 to 10 consecutive seconds, with voiceover briefing the usage guides of the equipment to help people better exercise.
