An inspection team of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference went on an inspection tour in Wuxi on Tuesday and Wednesday to learn about the progress of the 5G application. The team was headed by Huang Lixin, chairwoman of the Provincial CPPCC.
At the National Supercomputing Wuxi Center, Huang Lixin was briefed on the Sunway TaihuLight, the world's fastest computer and its application progress.
When visiting Siemens Medium Voltage Switching Technology Wuxi Co., Ltd. and Jabil Electronics (Wuxi) Co., Ltd., Huang Lixin hoped that enterprises will further accelerate the construction of intelligent factories and better promote transformation and upgrading.
At a symposium held during the inspection tour, Huang Lixin asked the local government to follow the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping on accelerating the construction of new infrastructure such as 5G networks, seize development opportunities, highlight the construction of new infrastructure such as 5G, promote industrial digitization, and constantly develop new models, new formats, new technologies, and new products.
She requested coordinated efforts for 5G construction and application by giving full play to the in-depth coverage and functional coverage in key areas, speeding up the development of 5G+ industries, amd strengthening cooperation in key technologies so as to strive for industrial integration and expedite exploration in application and promotion.
