A special exhibition featuring original hand-drawn pieces by Japanese manga masters kicked off on May 26 at Suzhou Art Museum.
The exhibition displays 70 masterpieces of 19 anime masters such as Miyazaki Hayao, Hiroshi Fujimoto and Inoue Takehiko. Slam Dunk, Saint Seiya, Detective Conan, Astro Boy, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, My Neighbor Totoro, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, and Doraemon are all among the items to be showcased.
Also on display are 120 artworks created by children, which were selected from more than 400 candidate submissions from countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, and China’s Taiwan and Hong Kong. The paintings with different styles show children’s perception of the world and their dreams for the future.
The exhibition will continue until June 17.
