East China’s Jiangsu province has taken a slew of measures to promote further reform on streamlining government functions so as to stimulate the vitality of market players and ensure the fulfillment of this year’s goals for economic growth.
At ten o’clock on a recent morning, the Jiangning District administrative service center of Nanjing launched a cloud-based examination on an application for labor dispatch business license filed by a local company.
The formalities, which would have required two working days, were completed in a matter of ten minutes.
Since the launch of the service on May 1st, the Jiangning District administrative service center has cut back on the time needed for the examination and approval of administrative items to facilitate business environment by delegating powers to the lower level authorities such as sub-district government.
Since early May, authorities in Nantong have streamlined government functions by including 20 administrative items in the one-stop approval process so as to reduce the time needed for the formalities by 50%.
Since the beginning of this year, the provincial e-government administrative service platform has registered 19.88 million new users to reach a total of 35.22 million and recording 20.5 million website visits.
3.66 million administrative items were dealt with online, accounting for 52.44% of the total.
Relying on the Internet, the Jiangsu government administrative service system has continuously optimized the approval service process by implementing various reform measures and improving the service level so as to shore up market confidence, help market players to be more dynamic, and create an excellent business environment for Jiangsu's economic development.
