An ecotourism resort in western Suzhou launched its tourism festival May 22, inviting tourists to enjoy picturesque scenery, family interactions and immersive cultural trips.
Trips to the countryside are especially designed for families, encouraging parents and their children to have fun picking tea leaves on Gongshan Mountain or yellow peaches in Zhenhu town.
Scenery-chasers are recommended to visit the colorful seas of flowers in Xijing Bay, or the tranquil banks of Taihu Lake, where they can take a breath of fresh air and enjoy views stretching as far as they can see.
The China Embroidery Art Museum, updated in 2018 to keep in line with the local embroidery town, offers another immersive possibility for culture lovers.
A co-branded citizen card was issued by the resort at the event, which offers Suzhou residents easier access and cheaper entry to the resort.
The resort also announced the establishment of its own photography studio, which will partner with the four renowned scenic spots in the area – Taihu Lake National Wetland Park, Gongshan Island, Xijing Bay and Chushan Ecological Park – with the aim of presenting tourists with vivid and authentic scenery.
