Ren Zhenhe, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, emphasized the importance of project breakthroughs to promote steady economic growth and provide strong support for the fulfillment of this year’s goals for social and economic development. He made the remark when going on an inspection tour in Nanjing on Thursday to check the progress of the Alibaba Jiangsu Headquarters Project, which is a major investment project under the supervision of the provincial leadership.
Ren inspected the construction site to learn about the planning and the early phase construction.
He also presided over a symposium to coordinate the settlement of some tough problems in the process of the construction.
He pointed out that the Alibaba Jiangsu Headquarters Project is the first regional headquarters of the Alibaba Group and has been included in Jiangsu’s major provincial projects for three consecutive years.
Ren Zhenhe hoped that authorities at the provincial, municipal and district levels as well enterprises will strengthen cooperation and coordination, and jointly build the Alibaba Jiangsu headquarters project into a new model of win-win cooperation between Nanjing Innovation City and enterprises around the world.
The deputy secretary of the CPC Provincial Committee demanded more efforts to ensure the completion of this year’s tasks in epidemic control and socioeconomic development.
He also hoped that the construction of the Alibaba Jiangsu headquarters project will contribute to the province’s rural revitalization and the construction of a comprehensively well-off society.
