Foreign Affairs Office of Suzhou Municipal Government and Suzhou Symphony Orchestra joined hands lately in the production of an anti-epidemic music video under the title of "Stand Together to Fight Against COVID-19".
The video has been posted by France’s Grenoble, Germany’s Konstanz, Poland’s Nowy Sacz, Portugal’s Coimbra, Bulgaria’s Sofia and other Suzhou’s friendship cities on their social media and official platforms.
Founded in 2016, Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZS) has quite a few foreign musicians in the team. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some of them can’t return to Suzhou for the time being.
The SZS musicians both at home and abroad have therefore made a music video together to convey wishes and greetings to Suzhou’s friendship cities and express the faith and strength to battle COVID-19 through solidarity.

Grenoble has been a friendship city of Suzhou for 22 years. After the music video was posted on Grenoble’s official Facebook account, it has been very well received by the city’s people, "Distance hasn’t blocked the performers’ efforts in fighting against the virus. They have demonstrated their talents in the music and shown common determination and faith in defeating COVID-19.”
Though we are observing social-distancing and can’t meet up for now, we can still interact and communicate via online platforms. The dark night will pass, and the dawn will come. Hope this music video can bring you energy and encourage you to move on.
